Institute for Sustainable Futures

Project Manager, World Wide Views on Global Warming

Moving climate skeptics to become believers ……

The Institute for Sustainable Futures (ISF) is a world-leading university research institute associated with the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), working on cutting-edge sustainability projects towards making the world a better a place. As project manager for the World Wide Views on Global Warming project (WWViews), I coordinated the largest, global citizen consultation process held on 26th September 2009 for the United Nations COP 15, held in Copenhagen, Denmark to combat climate change. It was the first ever, global event where citizens had an opportunity to express their views on climate change, held in 38 countries concurrently

ISF was the Australian partner and I obtained corporate sponsorship from The University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) as the major sponsor, with additional support from PricewaterhouseCoopers, National Australia Bank, World Wildlife Fund and the Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment.
